Privacy, in plain language.
Your enquiry is a conversation starter. Here is how Tangerine Fax handles the information you choose to share.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, contact details, chosen contact method, and the preferences or message you provide. Connection enquiries also ask for your city and country. We record your consent, submission time, source page, and available campaign parameters such as UTM tags or a Facebook click identifier. Please do not submit sensitive health, financial, identity-document, or intimate personal information.
Why we use it
We use your information to review and respond to your request, discuss suitable connection or coaching options where available, and understand which campaigns generate enquiries. Contact permission applies to your request; it is not permission for unrelated newsletters or bulk marketing. You can ask us to stop contacting you.
Storage and access
Enquiries are stored in a private server-side text file outside the public website. Access is limited to people responsible for handling enquiries and necessary hosting support. The form does not send automatic email notifications. Information is not published as a member profile or made searchable on the site.
Introductions and other providers
We do not automatically share your contact details with other participants, coaches, or hosts. If a proposed introduction or external provider would require sharing your details, we ask for your permission first. Any separate service should explain its own terms and privacy practices before you agree.
Cookies and technical records
The website uses an essential first-party session cookie for form security, preferences during your visit, and submission confirmation. Server access logs may contain IP addresses, requested URLs, and browser information. An IP-derived hash is used to limit spam. This version does not load advertising pixels, third-party analytics, or nonessential tracking cookies.
Retention and your choices
Enquiries are normally retained for up to 12 months after the last relevant interaction, unless a longer period is required for a specific lawful purpose. Technical spam-control records are kept only as needed. You can request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of contact permission through the contact form using “Privacy or my data.” We may need to verify that a request concerns your own information.
